🗺️ Charts that work with no signal

A worldwide nautical chart we render ourselves from OpenStreetMap data. Download your sea before you leave and it keeps drawing when the phone has no service at all.

📡 Live ship traffic

AIS vessels around you, coloured by type, with name, speed and heading. Free, not a paid add-on.

⚓ Anchor watch that wakes you

Set the swing circle and sleep. If the boat drags, the alarm sounds even with the phone locked and the ringer on silent.

🌬️ Wind and sea

Forecast arrows you can scrub forward hour by hour, plus gusts, temperature and wave height at any point you tap.

🧭 Routes, track and GPX

Drop waypoints, get distance, bearing and ETA at your real speed. Every voyage is logged and exports as a standard GPX file.

Sirena Premium

The chart itself, offline downloads, AIS traffic, routes, the track log and the anchor watch stay free for good. Premium adds the imagery, the shipping lanes and the fleet.

🛰️ Satellite chart

High-resolution imagery for reading an unfamiliar anchorage or a shallow entrance before you commit to it.

🛥️ Your fleet on the chart

See the captains you sail with, wherever they are. Invite with a QR code, a link, or a phone number. Strangers only ever see an anonymous boat, and only if you choose to share.

🚦 TSS charts

Traffic separation schemes: the shipping lanes and their separation zones, drawn on your chart.

🏁 Create race courses

Draw a start line, marks and a finish, then share it as a link. Anyone can join and sail your course for free.

Questions

Does it work without a phone signal?

Yes. Download the chart region for your sea once, and everything after that runs from the phone: your position, course and speed, the chart, your route and the anchor watch. Offshore with no signal is the case it is built for, not the exception.

What do I get without paying?

The worldwide nautical chart and its offline downloads, live AIS ship traffic, wind and sea forecast, routes and waypoints, the voyage track log with GPX export, the anchor watch alarm, and distress assist. None of it expires.

What does Premium add?

High-resolution satellite imagery, the TSS charts showing shipping lanes and separation zones, and the fleet, which puts your crew and the captains you sail with on your chart. Every install opens with seven days of Premium in full.

Can I use it as my only chart?

No, and no phone app should be. Sirena Seafarer is an aid to navigation. It does not replace official nautical charts, publications and good seamanship, and you should always cross-check before making a navigation decision.

Where do the charts come from?

The base chart is our own render of OpenStreetMap data, hosted by us and credited under the ODbL licence in the app. Satellite imagery comes from Mapbox and from our own Sentinel-2 coastal imagery. AIS traffic comes from aisstream.io and AISHub.

Does one subscription cover my crew?

The annual plan does. It is Family Sharing enabled, so one subscription covers up to six people in your Apple Family group. The monthly plan is for a single device.

How do I cancel?

In Settings on your iPhone, under your Apple Account and then Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends and it will not renew. There is nothing to email us about.
