Privacy Policy

Sirena (“we”, “us”) operates the Sirena iOS app and sirenaclub.io. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account: email, name, boat, port, optional MMSI and call sign when you register.
• Location: GPS position, course and speed while the app is open, only if you allow Location access.
• Live fleet: if you enable “Show me on the chart”, your position is shared with other signed-in users while the app is open. Positions expire after about 15 minutes.
• Track log: stored on your device unless you export it.
• Purchases: handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment card details.
• Waitlist / marketing: email if you join the founding list or create an account.

How we use data

To provide navigation features, live fleet presence, account recovery on new devices (Sign in with Apple / Google), product updates, and founding-member communications. We do not sell your personal data.

Storage

Account data is stored on Cloudflare (EU/US). Your credential token is stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Offline charts and routes stay on your device.

Your choices

• Turn off location sharing in iOS Settings or disable “Show me on the chart” in the app.
• Export or delete your account from Account → Privacy in the app.
• Email us at [email protected] for data requests.

Children

Sirena is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
